Extra MX Testimonials

rodsmith123 @ RCGroups
WOW!!! What an airplane!!! It flies around so easy and smooth and when you hit the throttle it is an animal. It is nice to have an airplane that is capable of everything.

hercdriver7777 @ RCGroups
The Flat Spins on the MX are fantastic. And, the more I fly this puppy the more I need that much power in all my other planes. I’ve also found that having that much power allows me to keep the nose pointed at the ground more of the time. Punch and Pull with that much power and you can get out of anything with no altitude at all! Love it!!!

FlopGun @ RCGroups
The power is just evil, its pure evil guys. The most power I’ve had on any model. The vertical is unlimited, instantaneous and constant.

ANd the power is great for KE spins!

I’m psyched to fly more, I got all the lipos on the chargers, the MX really opens up a big and fast flight envelope to explore.

Of course with the extra stability of the larger size and the super low wing loading the slow rollers are out of this world. I can imagine the RC Oasis III video featuring BT slow rolling to Champagne Supernova…………………

I love the MX! This thing does slow and low 3d like a GS plane. And the vertical power is phenomenal.

Once you get the CG right and get a few flights in, this thing flies effortlessly.

It’s Crystal.

Burger Thing @ RCGroups
Man, this thing has some serious power. On the climbs faster than most of the hotliners i have seen in the past. And on the other hand it is so light and can be flown really slow.

One thing is for sure: Shaun has set this the bar really really high with this plane. Great looking -3.5 lbs and yet strong- a huge wing – insane power. WOW!

DB Hoopper @ RCGroups
My Maiden flight went very smooth! One click of down two clicks left aileron and she was flying level. Landing was trainer like. High rate rolls assume!

Love it!

White Rocket @ RCGroups
Got her done this weekend. I’m guessing around eight hours of build time.  Setup is Hitec 5085MGs X 4, Vox 15X7, bling package. I didn’t think it was possible to find a plane that I like better than the Ultimate. This is it. Congratulations Shaun, you did it again. This thing flies arrow straight. Point it up, start rolling and it’s completely axial.

Clive Holloway, Australia
I thought I’d post to say flights no 2 and 3 are under the belt now. On the recommended low rates it is a dream to fly, stable, predictable and penetrates well. Oh, so smooth! My initial worries about flying this, as my skills are nothing like the guys who have posted video’s, were ill founded. I’ve only used the 14×7 and haven’t measured my watts or amps yet but reckon this will be a fun and adaptable plane.

lsnover @ RCGroups
Got my first flight in today. What a great flying plane. Ran it through two sets of packs for 6 minutes to see where my battery use will be.  I don’t think I’ve ever had a plane I can snap roll vertical, pretty much unlimited. The Power to weight ratio in this bird is amazing.

It’s very neutral balanced at 118, but lands like a pussy cat. We had some really odd wind today, so I didn’t get to mess around as much as I would like, it does handle the wind fine, but the air was supper choppy. Charging three sets of packs for tomorrow. Can’t wait. This is the first plane I’ve been excited about since getting into Helis.

demonGti @ RCGroups
Fantastic job PA

This is the best maiden I have ever flown, absolutely zero trim!
First pair of batts I took it fairly easy to get a feel for the MX but by my second flight I managed a knife edge spin first time… easy. Knife edge flight you can do amazingly slow compared to my KMD. Also rolling harriers with the MX I found much easier than with the KMD or my AMR.
Shaun, you’ve outdone yourself dude! Thanks PA for a beautiful plane!

scootergeo @ RCGroups
I just purchased a green Extra MX and love it. The quality, precision, strong and light weight construction is something to admire. I haven’t quite finished building it yet but I can tell is is going to be a pleasure to fly.

rctc @ RCGroups
I really like the way it flys.
The thrust motor and esc match up great.

parker fly @ RCGroups
State of the art that is! It is refreshing to see that PA not only made it light and strong but they also made it beautiful. Look closely at how the pieces fit together, and you will see the attention to detail that is missing on most arf’s and kits today.

lsnover @ RCGroups
Fantastic build quality. Attention to detail. Built to fly the snot out of. Maybe that’s why Green is popular. 😉 My MX is my favorite plane in this size class.

Cheers!
Lee

AndWho @ RCGroups
Just finalized assembly of my ExtraMX with Thrust50, Quantum65,Hitecs and a VOX14x7 w CF Spinner. Sweet machine !
1766grams with 2×2200 HĂ˝perion VX G3 and 45A WOT. That must be over 1KW !

Nick9000 @ RCGroups
Presently building an MX, my first PA plane. Love the idea of iPA’s, takes the guess work out. First thing I noticed about my model is all that wonderful CF!!
I’m not even finished building the MX and I know I want to add an Addiction to my hanger. Hoorahh!!!

themaj @ RCGroups
The new MX is a fantastic airplane it draws unbelievable attention every time I take it out. I love the IPA packages the PA folks put together…always first class in every respect.

Jim

ultrasportpilot @ RCGroups
Hey guys I would like to chime in here that I had the privilege to fly the new Extra MX and all that I can say is WOW. That thing was just ridiculously cool. Power was second to none. Thanks to Mike Wargo the team pilot I am set out to get one of these aircraft in the near future. The MX was probably the best electric I have flown to date.

Mark Huffman @ RCGroups
Just received my Extra MX. I’m very impressed with the quality and can’t wait to get it in the air.

awry @ RCGroups
I was primarily a heli flyer till I bought my first PA plane which was the Addiction. I’ve never had so much fun with a plane before and this was that led to to buy the Extra MX. What an awesome plane. I’m having a blast. Just want to thank PA, Herc and Aero and of course the RC Mafia in Malaysia for the planes, videos and inspirations.

Robbie @ RCUniverse
I just finished mine up and put the first flight on it. Complete PA set up. Oh boy!!! I was blown away by the power, slow filght of this beast. No plane on the market has this type of preformance in a 58″ wing period. I have a 51″ slick from 3DHS, love it but the PA MX eats its lunch. Love the two 3s lipo set up. The battery size is nice for alot of your 39/43″ electricts. Go buy this plane.

Robbie

John Elliot
since I got the MX I hardly ever fly my 30% plane.

The big plane is just too much of a hassle to haul around and setup, who
needs it when the MX flies so GAS like?!!

Congrats!
John Elliot

evo62 @ RCGroups
I like the way the Extra MX looks when you view it from behind. Something about the way the fat fuse narrows down to the thin little tail just makes me go “woah!”.

hercdriver7777 @ RCGroups
It really is the best 3D plane that I have owned!

lamafever @ RCGroups
I think the 6S design is brilliant and considering of most PA owners, they don’t have to invest buying different types of batteries. I’ve been using 3S packs for my Addiction, AMR and MX and i don’t have to spend extra for the batteries. And IPA is the way to go in the long run, a lil bit steep in the initial setup but hey … i don’t have to worry about the performance and all we got to do is fly the plane  ….. i’ve been flying less than a year with PA plane and these planes allow me to learn and do stuffs …. unlike any of my previous planes which has some bad flying behaviour.

Mr Rossi @ RCGroups
Picked up my green MX on Saturday, maidened it on Sunday, Thrust 50, 60a ESC, 4x 5085MG’s, CF VG’s, spats, spinner and 2 VOX 15×7’s. I have never flown anything with that much power to weight, and finesse. what a ship!!! in time maybe i can do it justice lol

Wadam @ RCGroups
Right out of the box you could tell the detail and structure was well put together especially considering the task of keeping it so lite.

Although only being a sport flier now having about 20 flights with this plane, it flys very true no matter what angle of attack , has unlimited climb, knife edges are easy, handles cross wind landings with ease, so am look forward to learning 3d in the future.

Well done PA , after showing this off at our field you will be seeing alot more orders coming in from Canada.

racin06 @ RCGroups
OK, I maidened my MX successfully! What do I think about the MX? Well, I had never flown a balsa airplane…been flying foam for 18 months ….and I’m very impressed! I also fly helis and we heli pilots talk about how when you have things set up well, the heli flies “locked in” or like “it’s on rails.” That’s how the MX felt to me compared to my foamies.

One thing I will say is the MX glides and floats what seems like forever. Both of my landings were pretty much deadstick. Anyway, I’m stoked!

SalamSyed @ RCGroups
MX is one of those planes which actually lands itself and no need to struggle with throttle when you bring it down.

JEFFRO503 @ RCGroups
Went out yesterday and flew the living heck out of my little extra MX again…….WOW!….what a nice bird man! I must have around 100+ flights on this thing now , and it always seems to handle every thing i throw at it!

I cringed when i looked at the overall price of everything I payed for , like the airframe , motor and all the electronics…..But i can say now , that it was worth every single penny!

Seriously….this little MX has made me a 5X better pilot on all my bigger gas planes! One awesome little learning tool man! I just can’t get enough of this bird!

Put in 7 awesome frickin’ flights today with my little 58″ extra! No wind what so ever at the field and it was awesome! I felt so “locked in” with that little bird today and honestly felt like i could do anything with it. I rung that sucker out extremely hard today…..and it never missed a beat! Man , this one fun little bird!

pittsfan @ RCGroups
This is really the coolest plane I ever had.

Evel Knievel @ RCGroups
I got a test flight in on my second MX Saturday (May the first one RIP).  Absolutely perfect. It needed no trim at all. I love this plane!

PSBeretta @ RCGroups
I maidened the plane last night and all I can say is WOW! Its all that I hoped it would be and then some. The MX almost lands itself! Its very floaty and I think it feels very locked in.

jwcatto @ RCGroups
AWESOME looking plane. IMO the best LOOKING 3D plane out here.

graniteguy @ RCGroups
I just love the way the MX flys, I just wish I was better at flying it. Installed the CF spinner and wheel pants and they look great. Wing bags are really well made and fit like a glove. mx flies like it is on rails very smooth. Cant belive how slow it will fly, great plane. Now IM going to order the AMR, Im hooked on PA!!!!!!!!!!

Darryl
I just got the Extra MX, It\’s the best plane ive ever flown!!!! I can\’t get over how well she handles, its scary crazy!!!

Joe Bruce
I really am impressed with the MX’s flight characteristics.  The guy’s at the field were also impressed!  I’m not the best 3D pilot but the MX really made me look good.  Its the best plane I have flow since getting into RC 10 yrs ago.  Most of the planes I fly are sport models, sticks, viper 500/PoleCat pylons, 1/5 CAP 232, Ultrasport, Hyperion Yak profile, Typhoon 2.

Byron @ RCGroups
PA planes are state of the art design, VERY HEAVILY CF REINFORCED for super strong yet light weight airframes that can take a great deal of 3D abuse without falling apart after a while like the competition’s balsa models (in my experience). And because of the high tech. design, PA planes give excellent if not leading edge thrust to weight ratios on less watts (using 3S 2200 mAh packs) with flight times exceeding the competition’s models by several minutes.

Case in point: 48″ 3DHS Edge 540 with a quality 3S 2200 pack gives me 5 minutes of 3D flight time.

48″ PA Extra 260, the same pack gives me 7 minutes 3D flight time.

58″ PA Extra-MX, a pair of 3S 2200 packs (wired for 6S) gives me 7 minutes of white knuckle hardcore 3D flight time.

I prefer my PA planes not only for the extra flight time per given 2200 mAh pack, but PA planes are just tougher, stronger and can hold up to the kind of 3D abuse I put them through.

HTH, Byron

long leng @ RCGroups
well, now after about 20 flights later with a perfectly flying mx i want just to tell you i do love the mx. never ever thought a plane can fly that nice.
thx pa, absolutely drugy feeling.

grinder965 @ RCGroups
Another thing regarding my first couple flights today that’s worth noting is how efficient and powerful the power sysytem that Shaun came up with is. I was only putting around for most of both flights and only gave full throttle severval times but I put back less than 900 mah into each battery after flying flights that were a little more than 6 minutes. So the higher voltage lower amp power system will deliver tremendous power, efficiency while keeping weight down. So for me, flight times are gonna be more than adequate when I start some spirited MX sessions.

evo62 @ RCGroups
you can tame down the throws (like me) and it is a dream to fly, stable and easy to place where you want. When you’re ready, bump up the throws and start cutting loose.

All in all a very fun plane and it looks better then the photo’s in real life!

hal001 @ RCGroups
Got mine in mail the other day, AWESOME, packaging was done very well, order was correct, shipping was fast, communication with company, top notch, and now i am building to see what all the fuss is about, lol. I can’t believe how light it is, and the reinforcements with carbon throughout, never seen a plane of this quality. Price is excellent for what you are getting in my book.

PA====YOU====ROCK.

demonGti @ RCGroups
Heh heh… the MX rocks, it’s a definite head turner

I introduced a mate of mine to electric (specifically the AMR) a little while ago. He was so taken by the overall look and quality that he ordered one, then he saw me fly my MX…   so he had to order one…. needless to say our PA hangar is growing. Along with our two new Addictions we’re starting to look like a Mafia detachment

JEFFRO503 @ RCGroups
Just got back from the field with maidening my little 58″ extra. Very , very fun little plane. I was amazed how well she floats around…..a lot like some of my big gas planes do.

Back to the Extra…..I can’t wait to get some more flying on this thing! I have the CG set at exactly right at 118mm , which is perfect! I’m going to up my low rates a little , so they are a little more aggressive , as i felt like i was flying a trainer for the first 30 seconds……Switched it to high rates and never looked back.

Knife edge flight….very little coupling. Honestly , i couldn’t tell if it had much at all , as it was pretty windy today , so it was hard to tell. One thing though….IT WILL do some great high alpha knife flight! There is a “sweet spot” , that if she is sitting just a little to level , it’s about 1/2 throttle to keep the knife edge going. But if you find that sweet spot up high…you seriously can do some like 5-8mph knife flight right off the ground!

this thing is really fun at 4lbs! First little electric plane i have owned in which it handled like my bigger 50cc – 100cc birds. It’s an awesome training tool for sure!

I can say…if i wipe it out….i’ll be getting another!

grinder965 @ RCGroups
My auw with all PA equipment comes in at 3.8 lbs.

Got 5 flights in with the MX this morning and I’ve got it dialed in nicely. As BT mentioned power to weight is phenomenal. Snaps, rollers, spins are incredible. One of my favorite manuevers is doing an inverted flat spin where I can almost hold altitude indefinetly….and the spins are tight too!

Anyway, I’m very happy with this bird and it’s too bad I can’t get out and fly it everyday.

jasmine2501 @ RCGroups
Finally got to fly my MX today, and it’s really a good plane. Plenty of power and real crisp good handling.

franticforever @ RCGroups
out flying over the weekend, this thing gets better and better! me very happy, only wish i could fly like dan, or most guys here!

frantic

jwcatto @ RCGroups
I picked up a MX this weekend form a local fella. AWESOME looking plane. IMO the best LOOKING 3D plane out here. Maidened her Saturday and had some fun.

racin06 @ RCGroups
So, I was flying my MX today and while trying to make an elevator trim adjustment and inadvertently pushed the power switch on my DX7 to off. My first reaction was “oh s#%^” and by the time I turned the DX7 back on, my MX nosed dived straight into the ground (unplowed corn field) from approximately 70 ft. I expected a “rekit” as I did the walk of shame. However, that wasn’t the case. The damage…prop, cowl and some balsa repair at four locations in the fuselage. That’s it! I am still incredulous that my crash didn’t result in significant damage. That motor box is solid as a rock!

MalaysianFlyer @ RCGroups
My own experience with the MX goes like this. One of the only planes I did a tail touch with on the maiden flight (usually too nervous to do it with a new plane)

3DeltaFly @ RCGroups
On my MX’s maiden yesterday morning, I took off on low rates. After negotiating the first banked 180 degree turn to make a pass back across the field I engaged high rates, and that’s where it stayed all morning for a total of 4 flights. But I rarely used more than 50~70% throttle for some mild 3D as I was getting a feel for the plane.

The MX flies amazingly similar to its little brother the Extra 260. But the MX grooves through the air like it’s on rails, and pays little attention to small gusting breezes, penetrating the air with authority and exceptional stability. What a great flying machine

The Extra MX, like the Bandit, has a wide flight envelope. On low rates the MX makes for great sport flying and is a pretty darn good F3A practice platform as well. On high rates the MX is a very solid and predictable 3D machine. The MX tracks through the air like it’s on rails, very smooth. Mine is fitted with the iPA drive package, and it has tons of power to spare. It will rocket straight up from a very short ROG, and keep on going straight up until you let off the throttle. And being a larger heavier model than the Bandit, the MX handles the winds with greater stability.

danstah @ RCGroups
Just flew my Extra MX for the first time. This is my first non foamy aerobatic airplane. Wow is all I can say. This plane is gonna be some fun….

silverarrow25 @ RCGroups
Hi guys.   After a long winter, I did my maiden. She flies awesome..what can I say..speechless. It was quite a breeze..the wind was blowing at 7-8m/s, but she flew on rails.

neddis @ RCGroups
I have about 4 flights on it now and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! This is EXACTLY the plane I have been looking for! I love it! I gotta give PA kudos for this awesome design.

Nick Milton
(Purchased Extra MX iPAs Power kit plus bling package and extra props &
tools)
(FYI I have been flying nitro and electric helicopters and fixed wing
RC aircraft for 20 years)

Since I have been enjoying this aircraft so much I though it worth
while giving you some well earned feedback. Firstly well done on the
best designed, assembled and balanced package I have ever seen. Yes it
cost more than a cheaply assembled (and heavy) Chinese ARF but it is a
true pilots aircraft with astonishing performance, endurance and
strength. You get what you pay for!

Flying…

I have flown scale, pattern, sports and fun fly. I have never flown a
model or full size aircraft that tracks as well as the Extra MX. There
is no control coupling at all and the balance is spot on. Rolls are
completely axial and the vertical climb is completely unlimited. It
actually accelerates in the climb quicker that I would have believed
possible. On a 6S 3000mAHr 40C pack I have been getting 3D flight
times in excess of 10 minutes with an  800mAhr reserve.  If I go very
easy on the throttle I get up to 18 minutes and still maintain a
safety margin.

The motor and ESC stay cool. Even on a 38 degree Celcius day the motor
was only slightly warmer than ambient (compared to a similar size heli
motor flown on the same day which was too hot to comfortably touch).

I cannot now imagine having this much fun with any of my Nitro
airplanes. They lack the power and instant response of an electric out
runner and wood prop! Five years ago I would not have imagined that
would be possible!

Well that about sums it up for now
Nick Milton

Gotta Love the Extra MX from PA, it flies extraordinarily well.

matthard35
This plane is FEATHER LITE and a dream to fly! All 3-D maneuvers were ten times easier with this plane than with most because it’s so lite and overpowered. Thrust motor is very quiet and powerful. I love this plane.? Worth the money..

theBrent @ RCGroups
Hi all, I have just had my first flights with my Extra Mx this morning. I am speechless. My flight experience is across most of the parkzone planes, and i also own / fly the Addiction, Addy X, Bandit and Ultimate. But this Extra MX is just so wonderful. I cant believe how it can go from fast and powerful, to slow and graceful. I mean really slow, and really graceful, and when you turn it just doesnt seem to lose and altitude. I was worried about landing on my small runaway ( i fly at home) but it is crazy slow coming in. Thanks Precision Aerobatics, for producing such a brilliant plane. It really put a smile on my face!!!!

The Flying Pig @ RCGroups
Maidened mine today – what a great model. Goes just where you point her, and lands a treat.
Need more batteries!

Neil_SC @ RCGroups
I’ve had my MX since 2009 with the iPA setup (T50, 2x3S 2200, VOX 15×7) and performance is nothing short of ballistic. Pullout from a hover is unbelievable.

thintz @ RCGroups
Had my new Extra MX out yesterday, maiden flight was exceptionally good, a little down trim needed but other than that it flew perfect. Probably most surpising is that the Extra MX lands like a trainer! Just floats in and settles down, nearly by itself.
vertical is literally unlimited. I would take off and immediately go vertical and just let it go until we could not see it anymore, chop the trottle, hold it in a spin and watch for it to come down. Impressive power yet it will make walking-speed-slow passes down the runway as well. Inverted flight is also very easy and very predictable.
One the second flight I was doing my snap rolls on takeoff just a few feet off the runway and had it down to three or four feet above the runway inverted several times. It just handles great. I am going to tweak the control surfaces to reflect the trim added and leave everything else alone until I get some more flights in.
Once again, a VERY happy Precision Aerobatics customer!

jevery @ RCGroups
Shipping was timely and customer service was very good with my recent purchases with PA.

Richard Roberts
Wanted to thank everybody at Precision Aerobatics for getting my order out so fast and for the customer service that is great. I added to my order twice and the good people at PA dealt with me with in a patient and pleasant manner. The packing is top notch one of the best in the industry.  Thanks again for the great experience.

Dear Lady: this is just a simple letter of praise for Cheryl Widner at P.A.  U.S.A.  –  I recently made an order of two electric RC planes and made a mistake in doing so!

Cheryl called me to verify this is what I wanted (it was not) she helped me get this order right and answered all of my questions and needs in such a courteous and professional manner, I felt this letter was in order!   Not only do you sell the best model aircraft on the planet, you also have top notch employees and support crew like Cheryl !

Keep up the Good work,

Paul Herman
Many companies have support for e-mail questions. However, very few answer

in a timely, accurate fashion as you did.

This tells me that PA understands the value of good customer service. I will

definitely purchase my next aerobatics aircraft from PA.

Cheers,

Tim Parrish
Thank you for your call back, and the time you spent with me today. If this plane fly as well as your customer service this will be my favorite  plane. Customer service any more seems to lack politeness, concern and  urgency. This is not the case with you are your company. This Hobby is my fun and release I appreciate your friendliness politeness concern and urgency. Thanks again and look forward to meeting you some day.

Sincerely

Tim Parrish

Bjorn Erik
Thanks so much! The service is just as brilliant as the plane it self!

Hello P.A. I would like to thank all of you Cheryl, Jim and Jerry and anyone else who works at P.A. For the customer service, you are so nice and accommodating. Very professional but like talking to a friend. Wanted to thank the guys for there shipping and packing well the packing is the best I have dealt with on-line, they do the little thing to keep your products safe like taping props to a piece of cardboard. Owe yeah they make Great planes to. Thanks again P.A. Richard R.

Paul Gunnar Strand, Norway
PA product is outstanding good and solid planes! (I have 4 Pa planes in my collection, and i’m very satisfied with their performance!)

wblacker @ RCGroups
Just want to give a big thanks to Cheryl and Jim for their excellent customer service at PA USA. A big improvement from past PA experiences for me. I now have my fleet of PA (MX, Bandit, and Addiction X) up and ready to fly when weather improves. 🙂

Willie T @ RCGroups
Got my Thrust 50, Quantum ESC, Vox 15X7 prop and shaft installed. I had an extra spinner from my Bandit, so I used that too. Took her out Sat. And all I can say is WOW! You guys are right on….What a blast! It was a bit breezy but what a rock solid plane…..

dustymp @ RCGroups
just joined the emx club… cant wait to get this beauty flying. This plane is so beautiful it almost steals the spotlight on the wall (I hang my planes on the wall) from my wifes artwork.

Robin W. Karlsen
Thank you for providing these great Precision Aerobatics airplanes to the world! Extremeflight, Pilot-Rc, Eflite, Aeroworks, Great Planes, Hangar 9 could go to bed and sleep, compared with the PA machines! I have never seen or flown a electric balsa/carbon plane with this kind of light weight and extreme durability as the PA planes! I’m on my third PA bird now (there will be a fourth), and the best so far. The Extra MX is amazing! It looks great and the performance is fantastic! The only thing I wish you could do to the Extra mx is to add carbonfiber in the front of the glasfiber cowling as you already have in the back, it cracks up really easily.
Again! The best electric flyng machine I’ve ever had.

To everyone PA team – Thanks!

Best regards,
Robin W. Karlsen

Just wanted to let you know i have had 2 flight now with the emx cg is good plane flys very nice  ke is great with just rudder input and lands like a big plane thanks for designing a great plane.

I suprissed the pilots at my club yesterday at fagen park as there was a cross wind so i side slipped the emx in sideways and let the rudder go just before the wheels touched lol looked awsome.

Thanks again for your help oh i flew it with the vox 15 x 7 and its a bullet so ill stay with that and get used to the plane.

Damien Pool
Love my red Extra MX i stripped a wing bolt on a sunday morning and Adad was kind enough to take Shauns wing bolts out of his personal MX just so i could fly that day cant get better customer service than that oh and another time i broke a prop and the sydney sales lady( sorry forgot name) lives in my area and she personally dropped a prop to me on her way home now thats above and beond any customer service i thank you PA best RC company on the market

Dany Pelletier
I have an Extra MX awesome build and always flying the Addiction on the Phoenix Sim, would be nice to have a real one

Terry Rikard
I love the way the PA planes fly! I have the Ultimate, the Addiction X and was excited to finally get the MX Extra. I fly with a lot of guys who love very precise flying; one of them is David Guerin. (F3A competitor, was a builder for Quique Somenzini, and Nats manager up to 2013) I wanted a great 3D plane but also a very precise flying plane. I had Dave help me with the final GC and setting the low rates for precise flying. He said: “I had a really nice plane with no bad characteristic” and I should “continue adjusting the low rates till it flew like an extension of me.” I love the slow axial roles with no wallowing. (Dave’s were slow and beautiful!!!) Yet when I throw it to mid rates it does beautiful 3D maneuvers and high rates for walls, elevators, slides and more dynamic maneuvers. Anyone who says this plane is not a precise plane either does not have it set up right on CG, throws or both. As I have seen the right pilot make this live up to it name Precision Acrobatics!

Bob Younger
My Extra MX was a joy to put together. Everything fit perfectly, the instructions were awesome! And what a flyer…. no comparison!

Matt Strom
My Precision Aerobatics Extra MX has an awesome factory power-to-weight ratio, yet in a very strong build. I love the way the sun shows off the orange wings and illuminates the plane. PA took great care of me early-on when I had a factory motor problem. -No problems since!!

Steve Shaw
Steve Shaw started my addiction with an extra 260. next i saw the addiction in a video and thought wow what an ugly plane. when i watched the video i bought one and then another. then the addy x came along . have had 6 of them. the addy xl have had 2 so far. also along the way i have had an extra mx a katana mx an ultimate and an electric shock.does anyone know of a group that can help with this sort of addiction? I just ordered a new Addy X today

Lawrence
Hi Shaun.

I’m really looking forward to flying this one (Extra Mx). my Bandit is three years old and going strong. Katana MX two years old and perfect, Addiction X flawless, AMR two years old and stunning, Addiction 3D beautiful. They all run as good as they did the day I got them, all get polished weekly and look brand new after hundreds of flights. I can’t say enough about these planes and your design. At this point I have six of your planes. I don’t have another manufacture’s plane. I just love the effortless reliability of your airplanes.

Warmest regards

Lawrence
