Inside PA’s Production line: take a closer look at our factory
We’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about what’s going on at PA, and some even wondered if we’re closing. The answer is absolutely not! In fact, we’re more invested than ever.
This past year has brought major changes. After 20 years in the same place, we completed a move into a brand-new manufacturing facility in China. This transition has allowed us to modernize our production methods, bring in new workers, and refine our airplanes to a higher level than ever before. One important improvement (based on your requests) is that the newest batches are being shipped more completed straight from the factory. That means less assembly work for you and a better overall experience.
We also can’t ignore the impact of tariffs. At one point, we made the tough decision to pause shipments while starting production of a new model. Because of that, we had to wait for a full batch to be completed before we could ship. Each batch consists of a few hundred hand-crafted units, and that level of attention to detail simply takes time, but we believe the results are worth it. While we’re writing this, the planes are not yet on the water, but production is running at full speed, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
We know this year has tested your patience, and we truly appreciate your support. It means a lot to us. We can’t wait to get these planes into your hands.
